Magic Kingdom: Take Two

Thursday, May 25th

No notes today but plenty of highlights: Peter Pan, riding the train around MK, trading sorcerer cards, Big Thunder Mountain, Festival of Fantasy parade

...

It was Phillip and Lilly's turn to head to the park early and eat breakfast at Be Our Guest.  Their reservation was at 8:25.  Ellen and I met them in Fantasyland after stopping at the Main Street Bakery for a cinnamon roll.  Mickey-shaped, of course.

We rode a few rides, met Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and then started playing Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.  (We set up our game on Tuesday afternoon but didn't really get started until today.)

Wrong portal.  We'll be back.

We were summoned to Main Street

 We stopped by the Fire Station and got 4 new packs of cards

It was not a typical park day for us but that didn't make it any less enjoyable.  We ate (Be Our Guest, Columbia Harbor House, Dole Whip, funnel cake), played (Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom), rode (a few rides, the train) and watched (parade).  And then the girls swam.  The pool was their happy place so we tried to spend time there in the evenings whenever possible.
