Our Baby is a Biter!

Ellen has a "friend" at school that messes with her a lot and she does not like it. We knew about this but figured it would eventually stop as they got older. Well, she has finally chosen to retaliate. Ellen has bitten this "friend" twice on the hand! (And that girl has some teeth!) Her teacher called me this afternoon to let me know about today's incident. Her teacher tries to keep them apart but that must be impossible in those small, cramped classrooms. Hopefully this behavior will not continue. I wish I could see how she interacts at daycare. Is she going to be a little fiesty like her mother?

Curious about Curtains

Ellen loves playing with curtains - and we have floor length curtains in every room except the bathrooms.  This is the first time she was "allowed" to play with these and she knew she better take advantage of this golden opportunity.  (Since these curtain rods were installed by the previous owners of our house, I feel they are probably more sturdy than the ones Andrea and I installed!)  She quickly found the lamp and it's cord.  I love that her hair is blowing from the air conditioner.  She is a mess!

Saturday in the Park

There is a great park only a few miles away and we went today for the first time.  Ellen was sleepy so we didn't stay long.  We are looking forward to more good times here (after naptime!)

It was great spending time with Andrea, Caleb and Ashling.  The girls had a lot of fun together.  Ashling is a big helper and knows just what Ellen needs at all times.

We had a great 4th of July.  We went shopping with Andrea, Caleb and Ashling and then met The Moss Family for dinner, dessert and fireworks.
