Phillip's mom made Ellen this cute dress. We did not get any pictures of her the first Sunday she wore it so we made sure to get some today. She was a bit temperamental...it was time for a nap, but she gave us some smiles and blew bubbles. She feels pretty in pink.

Movies
I love going to the movies. It is the one thing I miss a lot. Not that we can't go because of Ellen, we just don't go nearly as often. We do have Netflix...which is great. Side note: Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel is finally available and I can't wait to mail one back we watched this weekend so I can get it! I was saddened to realize several months ago that Netflix did not have it available to rent, but I added it to our "saved" list anyway. I like to think they started offering it because of me. I really don't like watching movies at home that much, but I am slowly adapting. I started a list of movies we've recently watched. I am not necessarily recommending them, but I am a true movie aficionado so I probably liked something about each one. Also, I added the link to spill.com - they have funny and insightful movie reviews. (FYI: the language isn't the cleanest)
Phillip and Ellen
Ellen loves grabbing for and "holding" catalogs and magazines. She tries to hold the song book and our Bible at church too. She looks so grown up when she does it.

Easter Fun and Basketball-can it get any better?
Well it could be better... if Duke had beat WV. But we enjoyed the weekend despite our disappointment. We went to Matt and Sara Jo's (and Cole and Savannah's!) on Saturday and dyed Easter eggs. It was so much fun! We also watched some of the NCAA tournament and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. Cole let Ellen wear his bunny ears. She didn't seem to notice. She has a third tooth coming in on the bottom. She is a big girl now! Ellen is our little explorer. She is very curious.

Grandfather and Granddaughter Reunited
Ellen and Granddaddy are together again after more than 2 months of separation! She has definitely changed since Christmas...she has 2 teeth on the bottom, rolls over, sits up pretty well, loves to "stand", enjoys bouncing and rocking and continues to sleep through the night. It is an ongoing fear of mine that she will all the sudden decide she wants to wake up and play or eat a few times each night. I guess I will never forgot the first 3 months of her life and hard it was. We are looking forward to spending time with Dad the next few days.
