We have ants

Any suggestions? I have been reading up on Borax and sugar/honey.

They were just coming in the back door area, but we found them in the pantry and laundry room last night. I almost had an attack. I HATE ants! They got into an unopened $40.00 bag of dog food. We keep the dog food in big plastic sealed containers, but I just bought this bag and hadn't transferred it to the containers yet. I think these ants are different than the back door ones... maybe cousins. It is frustrating because until the dog food infestation they were really just annoying, now it is war! It was a long night of cleaning up and I am dreading what I may find when I get home.

It's a...

Boy! Congratulations Andrea, Caleb and Ashling!

On Pins and Needles

My sister is pregnant and we are so excited! She is finding out today, right about now, if they are having a boy or a girl. I just want to go on record and say I think it is a boy. I just keep imagining a boy when I think about them. I will hopefully hear from her soon. My dearest Ashling is going to be the best big sister! I don't think Ashling will torture her younger sibling like Andrea tortured me. Maybe tortured is a bit strong, but I mean it with the utmost respect and love. I was gullible, so I am partly to blame.

I also want to say... Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad - Cinco de Mayo!

Pregnancy Flashback

I just saw the lady (someone at work I rarely see) that compared the pain of childbirth to that of a bad headache (she told me this was when I was around 8 months pregnant). Now I have had some very bad headaches... I have had migraines... they did not compare to (attempting) childbirth (I ended up having a c-section). Migraines can take you down, but it is not what I would compare giving birth to. I do not miss the helpful comments and advice that I received while pregnant!

Braids

One of Ellen's teachers braided her hair one day last week.  She looked cute.  Mom, are you ready to experiment?

Accident

I was involved in my very first accident.  I was rear ended on 65 South about a week and a half ago.  I was on my way home from work, so I was thankfully alone.  I was pushed into the car in front of me. And the lady that hit me was rear ended after she hit me...so 4 cars in all.  No injuries.  I am dropping my car off to be repaired tomorrow.
