Working for the weekend

I am just "working for the weekend" as the song says. My company seems to be more unstable than usual and it has been another long week... I am so ready for a couple of days off. Ellen is on my mind. I am missing her like crazy!

Saturday Plans:
Ladies Brunch (just me!)
Lunch with Kendra and Laurie to celebrate Kendra's birthday
Give the dogs a much needed bath
Laundry (several loads)
Clean! Clean! Clean! (My dad will be here on Wednesday)
Plan out some meals for when dad is here and go to the grocery store

Sound exciting??? It may not to you, but I am just glad to be with my family.

A new quarter starts at church on Sunday and I will begin teaching the 2 year olds. I will really be missing out on the great class I have been going to, but it will be fun and rewarding to teach.

March is just around the corner - Spring will be here soon and that is something to smile about.

Today I definitely did not read MckMama's blog atleast 6 out of the 8 hours I was at work.  I would never do that!  I love my job and take it very seriously and think it is wrong to waste company time.

While I was at work...

Oh how I love my little Ellen

I was off yesterday (yeah!) to work tomorrow (yuck!) - Ellen and I enjoyed some quality time together.  We went to Target, played a lot and acted silly.  She hasn't been eating much due to some major teething.  But I did get her to eat some grapes.  She went to school for a few hours this morning while I ran a few errands and did some much needed cleaning, so she is a bit "daycare dirty" below, as we fondly say.  

Phillip is now making spaghetti and where is baby Ellen???  Asleep!  Yes... she was very fussy, would not eat dinner, not consolable, wanted to be held, etc... so Phillip rocked her to comfort her and she fell asleep.  We do not rock her to sleep so he was not expecting her to go to sleep.  Hopefully she just needs some rest and is not coming down with something.

Saturday plans: I have to work 9-2, Phillip and Kendra going to the movies to celebrate her birthday (once I get home of course) and hopefully we will all spend some time together tomorrow night.  We hope to see Cody as he passes through on his way to Kentucky.  Other than that, I may hang out with Matt and the kids while SJ gets some work done.  I am looking forward to it all and more!

I am getting into the "throw all our junk away" spirit and may attack the garage with some heavy duty trash bags in hand.  Can't wait!
