The best email I ever received!

Phillip and Ellen sent me this one morning.  It made my day!  Ellen was sick so Phillip worked from home and took care of her.  He is a great father!

Visit from Grandpa McCullough

Grandpa McCullough is here for a quick visit... picking up Laurie.  Her last exam was this afternoon and she has now officially completed her sophomore year at Lipscomb.  Time flys! He and Laurie will be heading back to Charlotte tomorrow morning.  Russ arrived just in time for us to meet Kendra for dinner at McDougal's.  (Laurie was packing-we missed you!)  Here are a few pictures from this evening.

Blogging from work for the first time

Is this illegal? I have looked at my blog at work but never posted anything. Partly because I don't usually write much. Pictures of Ellen are more interesting that what I have to say! But I also don't want to get too used to it! Anyway, it is probably about time that I take a little risk. (just a joke-my job is not that strict). I was supposed to go to Houston and Chicago this week for work. Trip was postponed less than 24 hours before our flight...so it has been a weird week. I keep thinking - I should not be here right now. I am definitely ready for the weekend so I can regroup.

Ellen loves being in the shopping cart!  This is her second time sitting in the cart as opposed to being in her infant car seat just along for the ride.  She loves to look around.  She is getting more and more curious.  She was having too much fun to look at the camera.
